Worldwide there are an estimated 200 million stray dogs, and this number only continues to grow. I am a firm believer that everyone and everything deserves a second chance. Here at Worldwide Paws, it is my goal to ensure that these dogs do get their second chance at love and happiness. After learning about what these dogs must go through I wanted to make a difference. I want every dog to feel like they belong and that is exactly what I am going to use this blog for. My blog will be used to inform and educate on nonprofits and rescue agencies that have dedicated their lives to giving dogs a home. I will also provide articles and other relevant information on what can be done to improve the lives of dogs everywhere. Dogs have always been a man’s best friend, so they deserve a friend in their time of need.

My name is Sydney and ever since I was young I have always been extremely passionate about animals and animal welfare. My whole world changed when I adopted my first dog. The joy I felt from saving not only my pups life, but another from being killed in a shelter was indescribable. My dog was finally able to be rescued into a family that was filled with love and I wanted every dog to feel this sense of belonging. That is when I knew I needed to do something, and that is why I created Worldwide Paws. I want the world to realize how important their actions really are and how they can change the world. Just by informing the public on what is really happening worldwide makes a difference. Every action taken toward improving the lives of stray and abandoned dogs is a positive one, and it gives these lost pups a new hope. We are the ones who have to make a difference. I hope that through the knowledge and resources I provide these dogs can finally get their second chance at life.
